  1. go to Control Panel > Clock and Region
  2. then Click on Date and Time.
  3. then click on Change date and time.
  4. Then in the Date section (Calendar) I made the date 11/01/2020
  5. Then Click OK.
  6. Then I started HP Solution Center.

I managed to start HP Solution Center and scanned a document fine.

Then I noticed the time was automatically adjusted to the correct time after I finished !

I think we need to adjust the Date again to the correct Date if the system did not adjust it.

But I will need to do this every time I want to scan a document

I found the executable file for the scanner, but it opens the scanner program but not the part that allows you to pick the format of the scan or designate the file destination of the scan.  There must be another file (executable) involved, but I could not fine it.  When I use the hp print and scan doctor and run the check on the scanner, it says that everything is ok and provides a test scan button which takes me to the screen that allows me to pick a scan file format and save file destination; but I have been unable to find a way to those screens except through file print and scan doctor.  Does anyone have a  solution?

@RPond-Chicago,

This post gives the answer that you're looking for. Basically, that executable that you found does all the magic, but you have to specify the correct parameters when you run it. For an easier alternate method, you can use HP Scan Extended or HP Scan and Capture as detailed in this post earlier in this thread.

I gave everyone a simple solution but I can't find my post...I guess it was deleted for whatever reason.

Google 'RunAsDate'

Set it to run as a date prior to January 12th (or whatever the cutoff was), 2021

Download the program (x86 version), point it to your HP Solution Center .exe

you can create a handy desktop icon, and you'll use that icon to open the solution center.

done.
