I am setting up new Envy 6455. Wi Fi is connected printer is ready but message says "printer not responding". I printed a status report---everything seems ok. I get a message saying "ethernet not connected"----did not think I had to do that.
Also---my serial number has 2 digits that look like backwards Cs---so i can't do anything without it.

Hi,
A Serial Number would only include Characters and Numbers, please make sure you are looking at the right place as described below:

If that doesn't help, please check your private inbox for a message, click the top envelope icon to access private messaging.
Also, where do you see an ethernet not connected message? please include the EXACT error message in context, a screenshot would be helpful to get some better understanding.
