I have used this printer for several years. Yesterday, it would not print. I get a message that says "Software Missing." What do I do?

Welcome to the HP community.

 

First of all, please share the printer model as we cannot guess what printer you have.

 

This is just a Peer-to-peer community forum and not HP Support. We are all just Volunteers.

 

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Sorry. I have an HP ENVY Photo 7155 all-in-one printer. 

Yesterday, I started getting a message saying the printer was out of paper, which it was not.

Now, today, I get a message saying that software is missing.
