Printer working but not connected??printer switch error reported Wh at does that mean!

2820e is registeerd on my settings and worked perfrctkly for 9 months,Suddenly wont connect .Tried all switch off router printer etc.It prints blanks with HP logo no ink probs .Just wont connect says a switch is at fault>

When you press the info button on your printer and print a status report all that shows up is the HP logo.  Is that correct?

If so, there is a problem with the ink supply.  Probably the nozzles in the black in cartridge are blocked (dried ink) or there is gum / tape residue on the electrical contacts.
