Problem With Reappearing Dialog Box "Product Drivers HP Photo & Imaging 2.0 - A CD-ROM Required". This Dialog box continues to pop up as the laptop is booting up. I have to keep cancelling the dialog box. Then another dialog box appears saying:"Insert the HP Photo and imaging 2.0 all-in-one Drivers disk & click ok". I have to keep cancelling this dialog box. The laptop is connected to an HP PSC 2175 all-in-one printer. These dialog boxes have been popping up now for several months.  Thank you in advance for your help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

@major82, thanks for the response.

Thanks for trying out the steps.

This pop up is occurring most likely due to a software conflict of some sort on your system which didn't allow for the proper installation of photo and imaging 2.0. You can try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling the software via the link above and selecting a custom install...i.e. during the installation select which components you want to install. uncheck any photo and imaging software and complete the installation to see if that resolves the issue.

Let me know if this helps!

Cheers! 🙂

Hi@major82,

Thanks for the response.

You need to uninstall the HP Solution center and the Photosmart entries along with the Image device functions.

Then restart the PC and reinstall the driver and check if the issue is fixed.

Hi Resolv_S, I'm sorry I did not get back to you sooner. Your recommendation solved the problem. Thank you very much for your valued help.

Please help with another problem. I ran the HP ENVY 5660 e-all-in one CD and placed the printer on my computer. I tried to print a document and saw the dialog box with the bubbles go back and forth, but, no print of document from the printer. I ran the HP Print and Scan Program and was able to print the "Print Quality Diagnostic" showing that the printer appears to be working, however, it will not print an email document. Please offer some suggestions to resolve this problem. Thank you, again. I have the new printer set up wirelessly, and, it prints email documents from my other printers. Again, this is a PC with OS Windows XP PRO.
