Just thrown the office jet pro 6830 through my livingroom!

Helpfull? Maybe you can help me out finding a new brand  to choose from for my new printer.

That would be most helpfull.

Unfortunately, there are no other HP printers that use these cartridges. But join the crowd! you will notice that we all had the same problem after attempting to replace the ink cartridges. Basically they are al JUNK!

Yeah, this is the worst HP Printer I've ever had.  I was here searching for a solution, but that solution looks like I need to throw it in the trashcan.  That stinks, it's not even two years old but this seems to be a known problem with this model.

I have the ink service from HP, so which printer can I get that keeps using 934/935 and the ink service?

After I posted my last response, on Friday October 27, 2017, I called HP again.  I told the representative that HP should replace all of our prints with a new one since they have an inherant printer head problem. The representative kept repeating the same nonsense about the printer being out of warranty. I argued that a printer that is less an two years old with miminal use should not have any problems. He tried to blame the new ink cartridges. However, when I told him that the printer continued to throw the same error message when the old cartridges were replaced he had to concede that it was a problem with the printer. I am going to look into filing a report with a government consumer agency. If you check the HP forum our complaint is the largest with 32 posted complaints. There are probably many more folks who have not posted but have had the same problem thinking that theirs is an isolated situation as I did when the HP printer that I had before this piece of junk exhibited the same printer head problem. That one was trashed, as well. If I get any Information I will pass it along.

I have not determined which color printer I should go with this time around. I'm looking at reviews online involving Brother, Epson and Canon. So far, what I have found is a good review on one the the Brother printers. However, it's more than I wanted to spend. After two bad HP pinters I'm paranoid about making a decision on any color printer. If I find something that looks good I will post it.

I don't believe there is ANY printer that uses these cartridges ... part of the game with HP now.

Make them spend an enormous amount for cartridges and then sell printers that are crap.

Don't make any other printer that uses that same cartridge so you have been soaked on the ink and printer and then do it all over again when you need to get a new printer.

I have given up on HP.  They are just like any other company .. nothing and I mean nothing is special about this company or their products anymore.

Find the cheapest printer you can find and get a printer cartridge that you can refill yourself.

Oh and on your ink service cancel it IMMEDIATELY or you will be stuck with even more ink that can't be used.

That was another one of their money making gimicks.

Sorry HP but your products just aren't "special" anymore ... no pride in production or product.
