Where the heck is my serial number??? MFP M477fdn

Very simple problem: I can't find the **bleep** serial number on this printer.  

The manual, in the index entry for serial number, directs me to page 3, where there is NOTHING at all about serial numbers.  

I looked in all the usual places - can't find it.

I need the serial number to get help for the infuriating 59.f0 error which has made this printer, after relatively light usage, an utterly worthless brick.

Any help would be much appreciated - I'm about ready to defenestrate this printer.

The serial number is located inside the toner cartridge access door. 

And for the 59.F0 error you can find solutions on this forum, it has been discussed a lot. You will need to update the printer DC controller firmware to get rid of the error.

I know, that is where it is supposed to be…..but I swear, it is not there.

Absolutely nothing on the inside of the access panel.

And correct me if I’m wrong, but I think I need the SN to download any firmware updates.

Is there any other way to find the serial #, or anywhere else that it might be located?
