I'm trying to do a two sided copy on HP Envy 4500-e All in One... I can go to where it shows you the settings and how they are set, but will not allow you to change them. It shows this two sided copy as OFF. Can someone help me out here? I'm on a Mac Computer. All updated.

Thanks....

Im sorry but page 34 in the instruction booklet has nothing to do with how to make 2 sided copies. It shows how to make copies, I know how to do this and scan, the issue is the settings and their not set to do double-sided copies and it wont change.

Hi kthomp,

Thank you for your response! After doing some research I found that this printer does not have the capability to do 2-sided copies.

As a workaround, you can scan the pages to the computer and then print double-sided. Print Documents (Mac). If you need the document for scanning please, reply with  the version of Mac you are using. OS X: Finding your OS version and build information.

Hope this answers your question, and have a great day! Smiley Happy

Hi,

I figured it out and the HP Envy does to do two-sided copies. Its an option you have to select before you print at the bottom of the page. For those of you who said it was not possible, your wrong and need to do some research on it. I was misinformed and I knew it wasn't right because my partner could do double sided printing.

I'm sorry to inform you that your not correct. It DOES print two sided pages. Maybe some more research will give you the ability to inform people that it is possible!!!!

Hi kthomp,

Kudos to you, I do apologize for my previous post, after some further testing today, the printer does do two-sided printing as well as copies.

joemcta, just a question for you, in order for me to assist further, what Operating System are you using? Windows or Mac? What version? If you do not know the Operating System you are using, please visit this website. Whatsmyos.

Thank you both for posting! :generic:

Can you tell me how you printed on both sides because I cannot see how to do this on the print screen.
