Hi, there, well, I'm having a weird issue with my printer when I try to connect it to my new Wi-Fi network through the HP Smart software for Windows 10, after doing the steps that I read on the manual, following the available possible solutions and trying to reset it (even doing that didn't reset the custom password that I have no idea, and it didn't reset the Embedded Web Server admin password that apparently was removed) those things didn't work, so I'm here asking for help as I didn't find so much information about that problem on this printer series and its warranty has expired (I only got the support forum option when checking my contact options at official HP support site). Thanks in advance.
Edit: I couldn't find any label with the custom password below or beside the serial number (I even opened the printer and checked all possible places). I also checked the printer's manuals and box.

Hi @,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Wi-Fi connection issues on the HP Ink Tank Wireless 416!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Ensure Printer is in Wireless Setup Mode:
- Press the Wireless button on your printer to ensure it is ready for setup. The wireless indicator should blink, indicating that the printer is in setup mode.
Check Network Requirements:
- Make sure your computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you intend to connect the printer to.
- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on your router and the network is not hidden.
Reset Network Settings:
- To reset network settings on your printer, typically you can press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button together for a few seconds. This should restore network settings to their default.
Use HP Smart App for Setup:
- Open the HP Smart app on your Windows 10 PC.
- Select 'Add Printer' and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to Wi-Fi. Ensure HP Smart is up to date.
Remove Printer in HP Smart and Retry:
- In HP Smart, delete the printer if it is listed.
- Re-add the printer by following the setup process and ensure you use your Wi-Fi credentials correctly.
Embedded Web Server (EWS) Password:
- If you need to reset the EWS admin password, consider performing a full printer reset (consult your printer's user manual for instructions).
- Access EWS by entering your printer's IP address into a web browser, and navigate to the security settings to reset or change passwords.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Ensure your printer firmware is up to date. You can usually update firmware using the HP Smart app or from EWS.
I hope this helps.

Hello, I did all the steps before posting here (got them by searching up on google, reading here and on other forums and watching on YouTube) but it seems to be not fixing it though, I can't find nothing at my printer manual related to "full reset", when I supposedly reset the Wireless settings the printer starts to print out a paper with details, some of the details state that the EWS password is not defined yet, but when I try to access the EWS using the printer IP address from the Wi-Fi Direct (since I can't connect the printer to a Wi-Fi network) and type the default credentials (admin and no password, admin admin, etc) it simply doesn't work.
