For the past couple of days I can no longer print wirelessly from my PC to my Envy 6234 even though I have tried updating drivers, de-installed and re-installed the printer. I am having to use a USB connection instead from the PC to the printer. However, the printer now shows in control panel as HP Envy Photo 6200 series and not as Envy 6234.
Strangely, my Smart Phone is still able to print wirelessly to it which doesn't seem to make any sende whatsoever! Any solutions please?

@MazzaMum
Glad to know that the issue is now resolved. This looks like a software issue. Hence, we bypassed the software and installed the printer.
Feel free to contact us with any concerns related to HP products.

@MazzaMum, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that you are not able to print wirelessly from the computer. Envy 6234 belongs to the Envy 6200 printer series.
- Restart the router, the printer, and the PC
- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
Are you using the HP Smart app to print from the computer?
If yes, reinstall the app and check if that helps.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

I have restarted everything as you said but I still can not print wirelessly from my pc to my Envy 6234 as I normally can and I haven't changed anything at all since I was able to print wirelessly. My android phone can print wirelessly to it through the HP app.
I am using Windows 10 for 64 bit - is it likely to be something to do with the last update as I have not changed anything at all myself?
Thanks

Do you get any errors while trying to print?
If yes, reinstall the app and check if that helps.

I use the app if I print from my phone but very rarely as nearly all of my printing is done from my pc and just using the normal print function within the programme such as MS Office as I have always done. I never open up HP Smart to print and have never done before in the 3 years that I have had the printer so why would I need to now?

@MazzaMum
In that case, install the full-feature printer driver on the PC
You either have to use the HP Smart app or the full-feature printer driver.
Without a printer driver, you will have limited options to print from the PC.
Uninstall any HP printer software that is installed on the computer.
Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Try printing.
Let me know how it goes.
