HP Envy Pro 6432

Hiya,

I have recently changed my WIFI provider and need to therefore change the wifi setup for my printer, but I just can't figure out how to do it.

Printer: HP ENVY Pro 6432

I'm on a Mac, using Big Sur.

I am using a mesh wifi extender, which my computer is connected to.

I have tried:

- pressing wifi button & power button for 5 secs & then the WPS on my router. Printer looks like its connected, but my HP Smart app says it's still offline

- tried just pressing the wifi button on the printer.

- turned the printer off, disconnected from wall, turned back on. No difference

- run diagnostics through Smart app. just tells me its offline....I kinda knew that!

Also..to make matters worse I was trying to work it out through system preferences on my MAC and I deleted the printer from my list and don't know how to get it back....😭🤦‍♀️

Have tried to ask online help, but it appears down.

Would be very grateful if someone here could help.

Thanks.

OK I've solved the problem so please ignore this post. I can't figure out how to delete the post.

Basically I had to reinstall my printer.

Surely HP could make this easier. Add an option to reset WIFI network. People change their wifi providers all the time!
