Hey @ayman3mm

Welcome to the HP Forums! I understand you are unable to print documents/ PDFs, but you can print from the Print and Scan Doctor. The Print and Scan Doctor bypasses the Spooler service when performing the test print, thus the issue could be related to the Spooler.

Please take a look at the following wiki How article for instructions to Fix a Print Spooler.

If this helps you to resolve the issue, please click the Accept as Solution button below. If the issue persists, let me know and I will do all I can to help.

Sounds like we're making some progress! I found something that is specific to printing from Word, take a look and try the suggested solutions here: How to troubleshoot print failures in Word.

I hope this does the trick!

Dear Sunshyn

Thank you so much

I could determine the problem, it is in fonts, when i write with some fonts like Arial and times new roman i get the massege (0 documents pending for...), but when i change the the font into some other fonts its printing normaly, beside when i insert table it doesnt print, also the same massege.

At least we could determine the problem

So any suggestion from you for fonts and inserting tables problems?

Again Thanks for helping.

Personally I have not hear of this before, I did however do some digging around and found others having issues with some of the common fonts. Take a look at this suggestion I found in the Microsoft Community

After some long testing, adding the fonts on the server was way off. Here is what fixed it for us:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960985

To work around this issue, install the Complex Script support files. To do this, follow these steps:

1.     Click Start, and then click Run

2.     Type intl.cpl, and then click OK.

3.     Click the Languages tab.

4.     Under Supplemental language support, click to select the Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai) check box.

5.     When you receive the following message, click OK to close the message:

You chose to install the Arabic, Armenian, Georgian, Hebrew, Indic, Thai and Vietnamese language files. This will require 10 MB or more of available disk space. The files will be installed after you click OK or Apply on the Regional and Language Options dialog box.

6.     Click OK to close the Regional and Language Options dialog box.

This fixed the problem we were having with the Calibri font not printing correctly in office 2010.

You'll notice the Font mentioned in the solution above was Calibri, but this is as common as  Arial and Times New Roman.

It is entirely possible the fonts in Word are corrupt, you might consider uninstalling and reinstalling Word, or reaching out to the Microsoft Community.

I hope this helps.

The workaround suggested above is not applicable to "Windows 10 Education". The "Languages" tab has been removed from intl.cpl. Instead "Languages" appear as a separate control panel entity. However, even under that, the old options of installing complezx scripts, right-to-left written languages, Thai, etc., are not available. Its altogether a new interface.

I do get a list of languages to install. What all languages should I add to get this font (Calibri, Arial, Times New, etc) based printing problem to resolve?

I am using Windows 10 Education with Office 2016 Professional. I have the exact same problem as described in this discussion thread.

Same problem, but
if I lanch Office Word with "Run as administrator" then the documents can be printed. It seems to be a problem with security printer driver.

Hi @Adrian7

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your concern and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand you are unable to print from Office applications unless you open it as administrator

I’d love to help!

Follow the below steps to fix this issue.

  • Please press Win + R on your keyboard to get the Run Dialog box.
  • Type spool and press enter or click on the OK button.
  • This will bring up the spool folder. Right on the 'PRINTERS' folder and select properties.
  • On the printer properties popup, click on the Security tab.
  • Provide Full Control to all the users listed there. Apply the changes.
  • Now open devices and printers from the control panel.
  • Right-click on your printer and select printer properties.
  • On the printer properties popup, select the Security tab and provide full control/access.
  • Apply the changes and restart the computer and try to print.

Let me know how it goes and you have a good day ahead.

To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.
