Error Message: 0x6100004a
I bought non-HP ink and installed it. My printer immediately know it was non HP and wouldn't work. I turned it off and waited for my new HP insant ink to come. Once I installed it I got this error message that I see others have had also. I have no paper jam, the paper tray is fine. The printer just won't print. It tells me to turn it off so I do using the proper power button. When it turns back on it tells me I shut it down improperly and performs printer maintenance. Then tells me to contact support. It's out of warranty so I know there will be a cost. I feel like because I put in non HP ink that I'm being forced to pay for either support or a new printer. Which if that's the case would not be an HP. Can anyone help me? I am beyond frustrated!
