Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

On the OfficeJet 4650, is there a Setting that will make the tray extender automatically retract when I power down?

 

I saw a Post in the Forum saying that the 5740 tray extender also doesn't retract automatically:

Do you have a place where customers can make Feature Requests? It would be awesome if auto-retract could be included in a firmware update.
