Welcome to the HP Forums, this is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you want to enroll in HP instant ink and activate 3 months free trail. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • How did you get to know about the 3 month free trail?
  • Did you get any promo code for instant ink?

Meanwhile:

You would have got the claim code with the printer box, use that claim code and follow the below steps to activate the free trail.

  1. Go to HP Instant Ink and click Sign Up Now to create a new account.

  2. Choose a plan or click Enter Key to enter an enrollment key.

    • If you purchased an enrollment kit or a prepaid card from a participating retailer, click Enter Key and then type the key found under the scratch-off portion of the enrollment or prepaid card.

Make sure you type the enrollment key exactly as it displays on the enrollment card, or the enrollment cannot complete.

    • If you have not purchased an enrollment kit, select from the available plans.

  5. To use HP Instant Ink, Web Services must be turned on. Look for an HP ePrint icon or button on the printer control panel. After you press the ePrint button or icon, click Continue.

    • If your printer control panel does not have an icon or button, navigate to the Network Setup or Wireless Settings menu to find the Web Services menu item.

  6. Follow the instructions displayed on your printer control panel to turn on Web Services, and allow the printer to check for and automatically install firmware updates.

If you are prompted to update the firmware, touch or press OK.

  7. After you turn on Web Services, wait for the printer to print the Make the Most of Your Printer or Important Printer Setup Instructionspage. The information page contains the printer claim code. After the page prints, click Continue.

If the information page lists an email such as abc234vbn3434@hpeprint.com, then the printer claim code is the number and characters before @hpeprint.com. For example, abc234vbn3434 would be the printer claim code.

Deskjet 3630 series: If the page does not contain an email address or printer claim code, follow the instructions on the page to enable Web Services. After you enable Web Services, another page prints with the email address and printer claim code.

  9. Type the printer claim code exactly as it is displays on the information page, and then click Apply. If you have trouble with this step, click the 'Having trouble locating your claim code?' link.
