I have a 6 month old HP DeskJet 2755e all in on printer... it worked perfectly up until today... ALL the lights on the printer are flashing and I cannot print. I uninstalled the HP Smart app and re-added my printer and it keeps showing Finish Setuo, that's where you install the ink cartidges, which are almost full and yes I have... , but the colour ink indicator light is also flashing, yes it is connected to my network.
I figured it out... I was on the instant ink plan and didn't renew my plan and on looking around the HP Smart app, I found that these ink cartridges cannot be used without a instant ink plan.
From email I got from HP... Make sure you have installed HP Original ink cartridges from your preferred retailer. Subscription cartridges will no longer work since you have cancelled, so install store-bought HP Original cartridges to keep printing.
How lame... you can't finish what you have

Hi @wynford ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your HP DeskJet 2755e printer. It can be frustrating when unexpected problems arise. It seems like the issue may be related to the ink cartridges and the Instant Ink plan.
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the problem:
Install HP Original Ink Cartridges: Make sure you have installed HP Original ink cartridges that you purchased from a retailer. Subscription cartridges may not work if your Instant Ink plan has been canceled.
Check Cartridge Installation: Double-check that the ink cartridges are properly installed in their designated slots. Ensure that they are securely in place.
Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 60 seconds. Plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes help reset the printer.
Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually find firmware updates on the official HP support website. Updating the firmware might resolve compatibility issues.
Check Network Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the network properly. A stable network connection is essential for communication between the printer and HP servers, especially for services like Instant Ink.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
