Installed 3 different authentic hp 951XL ink cartridges - error returned.  See attempt to work with customer service:

 

      09/17/2018 12:35:11PM William Pierce: "I have now purchased ink cartridges (hp951xl) for $100 from 3 different vendors for my HP Officejet Pro 8600 plus. In each case, upon installation I receve the error advisory "The following cartridges are not intended for use in this printer." All are hp cartridges. They have a z10 desination, which I tried to avoid when I ordered. Is there a way to override this error?

May thanks to Dean and Bob_Headrick.  Answers were perfect.  

 

BUT - be aware, I had to contact HP Support 4 times before I found a support tech who understood the problem.  On call #4, the tech recognized and solved the problem within 10 minutes.
