Hi @HAP2870,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The B8087CF0 error code on the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M479f often indicates an issue related to the firmware or the printer's interaction with certain types of documents, such as PDFs. Here are several steps to try to resolve this issue.
Update Firmware:
- Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for firmware updates on the HP Support website.
- Download and install any available updates.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Drivers & Downloads page.
Check PDF Software:
- Ensure that your PDF software (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader) is up to date. Sometimes, updating or reinstalling the PDF software can resolve compatibility issues.
Print as Image:
- When printing from Adobe Acrobat Reader, try printing the PDF as an image. To do this:
- Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Go to File > Print.
- Click on Advanced.
- Check the box for Print as Image.
- Click OK and then Print.
Reduce File Size and Complexity:
- Sometimes, large or complex PDF files can cause printing errors. Try reducing the file size or simplifying the content of the PDF.
Alternative PDF Printer:
- Try using an alternative PDF printer, such as Foxit Reader or another PDF viewer, to see if the issue persists.
Print from Another Computer:
- Try printing the PDF from a different computer to see if the issue is specific to the current computer setup.
Reset Printer Settings:
- Reset the printer to its default settings. Refer to the printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
