Hello, I am trying to print from Google Slides (I am on a Mac and do not have Microsoft Office on this laptop). When I go to print, black boxes are surrounding some of my clipart images. Is there a way to fix this? I am printing from my Mac to HP OfficeJet 6962. Here's an image of the problem. The left side is the way it is printing. The right side is what I see on my screen.

Disclaimer:

  • I don't own a Mac
  • I don't use Google Slides

I have seen this effect on occasion in PNG files.

For example, some software does not handle (render) PNG files correctly.  The "transparency" is the part that is not working - PNG are simple little files and there may be something you can do by changing the structure of the file.

One example:

PNG Image Displaying with Black Background

NOTE:

There are likely more relevant articles to your particular situation - this is one of the first results that popped in a a quick search ("why do my png images have a black background")
