HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw

I have a Color Jet Pro MFP M283cdw printer and the screen is blank. The printer comes on but nothing is displayed. I've tried unplugging it and letting it sit for several minutes. It is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Does anyone have other ideas on how I can troubleshoot this? Is it possible to replace the screen if it has 'died'? Thanks!

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting a blank screen on the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a NAND reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

I'm unable to perform a NAND reset. The screen is blank all the time...so I can't see any prompts on the screen to walk through the reset.

Are there any other options I can try to resolve this? Thanks

You state that the printer comes on, are you able to send a print job? If yes, then likely the control panel is bad and will need to be replaced. If you cannot print then likely the formatter has failed and the screen is ok.
