I currently have the same (error code 042D34E8 ) problem with my HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 series printer. My printer is fairly new and I really hope to be able to use it for a while.

 

Can you provide me with the instructions to resolve the issue for my printer please?

The "042D34E8 error code" problem was resolved for my printer after the 3rd party ink cartridges were replaced with HP original ink cartridges. Note that, in my case, there was no need to reset the printer to factory defaults.
