@JaynieB,

I reviewed the post. The great temperament and good efforts displayed to try and resolve the issue are amply appreciated. As @Flower_Bud is out for the day I am responding on her behalf.

As it makes photocopies in blue correctly it is not hardware related and looks like a driver issue.

Perform a root level uninstall and reinstall of the HP drivers by following these steps:

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.
  • Restart the PC again.

Then download the latest full feature driver from https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-f2100-all-in-one-printer-series/3177559/... and install it on the computer after selecting the correct operating system.

Connect the printer to your computer only when the setup prompts for the printer.

This should fix it for you.

Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand, the cyan color is not printing,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

When was the last time it worked fine?

Were there any hardware/software changes made?

What is the operating system on the PC?

Once I have the information, I'll help you further with troubleshooting steps,

Keep me posted,

Cheers!

Hi
The printer work fine until I changed the cartridges. I though it was faulty cartridges so I bought some more but they were the same.
There hasn’t been any software or hardware changes. The operating system is windows 10. It photocopy’s blue ok, just won’t print it.
