Hello! Hopefully the photos help. My printer has reflected a carriage jam. There is no paper jam and we discovered this white cog piece (not sure the correct name) is broken. In the blue drawn box is where it is supposed to go. I believe once this piece is replaced, the printer will begin working correctly. I am not sure where to start to get this part or who to contact. It would help too if I knew what this part was called and may be a very easy fix. Thank you!

Hello all,

Circling back here. There is actually an easy fix. Through further research, I found the part I needed on amazon. It's called a "BCH Paper Feed (PF) Gear or HP 80xx Series - Fix OfficeJet Pro 8012 8025 Printhead Carriage Stuck." It was about $20 and solved my problem.
