My printer has been working just fine until today. Printed one page then I smelled something burning. I opened up the printer and took out the black ink cartridge to find that it was scorched. When I closed it back up the printer won’t even read the ink cartridge anymore saying that I need to replace it because it’s empty even though I know for a fact that it’s full. My warranty expired in 2020 but HP still needs to fix this. I’ve read many others that have had a similar experience. Seriously HP? Burning cartridges? This is a serious safety issue. Even if mine starts working again I’m afraid to keep using it because it might catch on fire. Trying to speak to an actual person about this has been extremely difficult, so posting on here is a last result. Anyone here able to get their burning printer issue resolved ?
