Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I wanted to change my monthly Instant Ink plan and also change the credit card I'm using. When I sign in, I get the main screen. I do not see anything that says, "My Account." I then hit the three horizontal bars next to the "Sign In" icon and hit "settings" and get my basic account information. There is only "Personal Information," "Account Information" and "Session Control." There is no "Change my Plan" or billing icons at all. Where can I find these to make changes? I should add that I just changed my username and email address in the settings. Would that have any bearing on this issue? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi @Bruce3431

Welcome to the HP Forums! 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

Let me help you with both your concerns.

STEP 1: Change Billing Information

Go to hpinstantink.com/signin (the HP Connected website) to sign in to your HP Instant Ink account, if you are not signed in already.

Your HP Instant Ink account page opens.

In the My Account section, click Change Billing Information, then Edit Payment Information. Make sure postal codes are in the correct format.

STEP 2: Change Plan

In the My Account section of your HP Instant Ink account page, click Change Plan.

The My Plan section opens, showing your current plan and the other available plan options and fees. Select a new plan.

  • If you are upgrading your plan, select when you want the upgrade to take effect. Plan upgrades take effect immediately or at the start of the next billing cycle, depending on your selection. When you upgrade your account, your monthly rollover maximum also increases.

  • If you are downgrading your plan, your plan automatically changes on the first day of the next billing cycle. When you downgrade your account, your monthly rollover maximum decreases and any rollover pages in excess of your new maximum are forfeited.

Example of My Pan Choices:

Click Change Plan.

I hope this information helps! 🙂

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I can't get to the screen you show in your answer. There is no icon for "My Account," "Change Plan" or "Billing." The only way I can see "My Account" is going through the "settings" on the home page and that shows me my personal information and a few other things, none of which I can find my plan or account number in. In addition, when I click on the link hpinstantink.com/signin  in your response, I get a message that says "this page does not exist."

The  support website might be down.  I click to try changing credit card account, but the page with my name & address is dead.  I tried clicking SAVE but got a redirect error. The current card is expiring. I discovered we don't even have it, so now it's reported lost, but I have to contact Instant Ink to change to another account. This has been frustrating. Is there a pone number to speak to someone live?  Or does anyone know what else to do?  Do I cancel Instant Ink and start over?
