I am connected via wireless. I have not updated to Windows 11 or any other known changes. When I try printing, jobs get on queue. Printer shows a job as 'printing' then loops and freezes or stays on loop. Printer status goes on error. I have used troubleshooters, unplugged, restarted, it won't print a test page or anything. I have cleared the queue, stopped and restarted the spool, and tried again, nothing seems to work. This has been going on for several days.
.Don't know what triggered this issue. I would appreciate any other help.

Try the full feature drivers for windows
Unless I am mistaken, the 8710 only supports ther 2.4ghz band. My iPhone uses only 5ghz and I cannot print "wi-fi direct" and I must go through the router.
If the printer is really on the router, your smart phone should find it when you do a share and select print. You may have to tap on the "no printer selected" to make it search for a printer.
Printing from the phone may need to be PDF. If the printer starts up and does nothing then it is not geting the data it natively can handle. I am guessing the printer cannot convert the data sent to PDF
See if you can print from the phone using HP Smart. Find a PDF document on your phone and see if HP Smart can print it.
The full feature package will work for windows PC but not MacOS or iOS.

Unplug from wall, wait 15 seconds then plug back in.
Factory reset is described on page 137 of the users manual
Get a network report using the front panel. If the problem still occures you need to take to a shop
hp worldwide contact https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
hp service online https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
If the network report prints OK then reconnect to network. This video might be helpful.

Thanks for the information BeemerBiker. Following this, I tried unplugging again and did the factory reset, Then, I tried getting a network report from front panel and this time it worked. The network report printed from the panel, which is the first printed document I have seen in days.
I restored my network connections again, and the printer found the network and I entered my password. I can hear the printer cranking up when a print job is sent from my computer, but it still stays in the loop and it doesn't print. I cannot print from my phone neither. Any other thoughts?
