Can you Upgrade Memory on LaserJet Pro 400 M401n?  I keep getting an error message that the print job is cancelled, memory too low.

It's getting frustrating, it will hardly print a single page PDF.

Hello ITGuy6;

This printer model has fixed memory. If your printer is showing low memory messages, you can perform a hard reset so any stored values, jobs, error logs, etc can be released.

There is a previous post that describes how to perform what is called "Cold Reset" on these type of printers.

Good morning.  If your Word documents and emails print ok, then it is probably a PDF problem.

All you have to do is select PRINT --> ADVANCED OPTIONS --> PRINT AS IMAGE. That is all. Within the Adobe Reader program if you do this, it will print with no problem. The memory issue occurs with only certain PDF file that are a combination of images/text. The print driver cannot correctly rasterize the entire document. By selecting PRINT AS IMAGE, the entire PDF gets translated properly to the printer and is able to print.  You can also open PDF using MS Edge and see if the PDF will print,

Forgive me.  I missed the MAC OS.  Disregard the MS Edge reference.
