Hello. I have been trying to contact HP customer service because I have relocated to a country that is not listed for the HP Ink service. A package was delivered at my old address that was redirected to its primary location. I want to continue the service but would like to speak to someone about my account and mailing address.

Regards,

Welcome to the HP Support Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries. I have reviewed your post and I understand, you are trying to change the delivery address.

Don't worry, I'm here to help!

To change the shipping address, please refer to - HP Instant Ink - Changing Your Shipping or Billing Address

If you are trying to change the shipping address to the country where Instant Ink is not available, I'm afraid the tool would not allow you to do so.

You'll need to cancel the Instant Ink program and use the regular ink cartridges after performing a regional reset.

Hope this helps!

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi. Thanks for the support but I am wondering what a regional reset is ? I also have the last cartridges sent by HP. Do I mail it back to Europe or contact HP here in the Philippines and deliver them there?

@MrsBlack

Hi there, thanks for replying.

HP customizes some printers and ink cartridges to meet local customer needs. If you take your printer from one country/region to another country/region, you might not find ink cartridges with the same number on the label as your original ink cartridges. If you install an ink cartridge with a different number on the label, you might see one of the following error messages:

  • Incompatible Cartridges
  • Cartridge Not Intended for this Printer
  • Incorrect Cartridges

HP Instant Ink is not available in Philipines and you'll have to use regular ink cartridge # HP 63 and if the regional reset is not performed, your printer purchased in Europe will not accept the HP 63 ink.

To cancel your Instant Ink account, please refer to this document - HP Instant Ink - Cancelling Your HP Instant Ink Service

You may send a private message to the HP Support Facebook Team or send a tweet to the HP Support Twitter Team for a faster response or you may also check your private message. I have sent you a private message with the steps to reset the printer.

Hello Asmita,

I have been hesitant because I still have two cartridges left and it took me ages to find my printer cable since the move so I had some time to think. If I do the resetting, will the cartridges still work?

Hi there, thanks for replying.

Once we do the region reset, you'd not be able to use the instant ink cartridges.

Thanks!
