HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw

Color LaserJet MFP M283fdw printer squeaks annoyingly while printing.

Addressed in previous post (old & locked to replies-  link at bottom) by user efc1.  His reply (2nd reply down) was precisely  my problem - the Yellow toner cartridge.  I only used HP toner cartridges.

The expensive toner cartridge (206X) still has plenty of life so I used a needle tipped oiler with extremely  light weight oil and judiciously/sparingly  applied a micro-drop at each roller end (I'm sure HP employees are rolling their eyes).   I used a Q-tip to clean any excess.  Voila!  Problem solved!

And in the last reply, user Sharif_da_MeEng benefited as well using this method to isolate the offending cartridge.

Update - 03/31/2024

Problem still persists.  My solution posted above was very temporary.  Yellow 206X toner cartridge squeaking louder and louder as time goes on. Tried different lubricants - no help.  Must be something internal to the cartridge.   Cartridge still has approx. 5% of life and prints fine.  This is a real kicker as this is an HP OEM cartridge - not a knock-off or a re-filled/re-conditioned product.
