My HP Officejet 6962 loses connectivity on goes offline after about 10 minutes. The only way to re-engage connectivity is to turn printer off and then on again. Cannot keep doing this. Is there a solution to this ignoring problem?

I have tried that along with the HP scan and print doctor.
I can connect with the printer but for only short period of time.
Tried to access the IP address of my printer and the page will not load. I was going to try a manual IP static address.
All windows updates have been installed.

What router are you using?
How far from the router is the printer?

I am using a Bell Home hub 2000. I moved the printer right next to the modem and the same problem occurred.
Over a short period of time, the printer fails to access the gateway address. Could this be a problem with the router or the printer itself?
HP soultion is to keep rebooting the router and printer which works for about 10 minutes then fails again.

Can you check the printer firmware, latest is MCP2CN1623AR. (See status report)
