Hi @14jcn14

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

If your HP Tango X is not recognizing when the ink door is opened or closed and has a flashing light along with a constant green arrow light, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check the Ink Door Sensor:

  • Open and close the ink door several times to see if the printer starts to recognize the action.
  • Inspect the door and the hinges for any visible obstructions or damage.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Look inside the printer for any foreign objects or paper debris that may be interfering with the ink door or cartridges.

Remove and Reinsert Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the ink door and carefully remove the ink cartridges. Check for any damage and reseat them firmly back into their slots.

Reset the Printer:

  • If the issue persists, perform a factory reset if possible. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to do this.

Update Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or on the HP support website.click here

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
