I created a custom paper size via the Forms tab on the Print Server Properties page.  This custom paper size does not appear in the Paper Size drop-down menu when I attempt to print something.  What makes this especially baffling is that this custom paper size previously appeared when using the same printer with my previous laptop (an HP Envy).  I replaced that earlier-version HP Envy laptop with a newer version, re-installed the same printer, re-created the custom paper size, but now it doesn't show up in the paper size drop-down menu.

I have tried deleting and re-installing the printer software, to no avail.  Any suggestions???

5in x 12in.  As  I said, I had done this before (same size) and it worked before switching to a newer laptop.

Yes, the custom form (5x12) I created is present in the list of paper sizes displayed in the Print Server properties.  As a matter of fact, there are quite a few forms listed there which also do NOT appear in the Paper size drop-down menu.  There must be some disconnect between the Print Server properties and the Paper Size drop-down menu.  It's as if the forms listed in the Paper Size drop-down menu are being pulled from a source other that the Print Server data.

You should not have to but did you restart the computer after you added the form?

Try a root level clean of drivers:

1.) win key + s, search for and open Programs and Features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) win key + s, search for and open Devices and Printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer.

If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'
6.)  win key + r,  to open the run command
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (NB: there is a space  between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers

Use my link to dnload the full driver software & install

I followed all of these steps... no joy.  The custom paper size I created still does not appear in the Paper Size drop-down menu, even though it's listed in the Print Server forms table.

Other ideas?  I appreciate your help.

What name did you give your form?
