Deskjet 4535
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My new HP Deskjet 4535 is getting connected to my Home Wifi. It prints fine if we sent the document to its email ID. 

 

But In my Desktop with Windows-10 64 bit , while trying to add printer, its detects the printer, but the driver status is showing as "Driver unavailable", due to which I am unable to print from Excel or Word....and also I am unable to adjust the grayscale. it does print on full color and full black..

  

I did the following.

  • Updated the Windows 10, with latest update.
  • Tried to connect the printer with USB cable
  • Downloaded the latest firmware, driver other basic software from HP website and its getting installed

But still windows says driver is unavailable.

 

Friends, I would appreciate if anyone has faced and solved the same kind of issue.

 

Please help 🙂

Problem Solved by installing the below Windows 10 update

 

Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 (Definition 1.255.236.0).
Feature update to Windows 10, version 1703.

You have to install software and drivers using the CD which comes with printer OR download and install  the following package

 

        https://support.hp.com/emea_middle_east-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-ink-advantage-4530-all-in-...

I already tried it. with the CD came along with the printer. it didnt work.

 

I also tried an OLD CD which came along with my friends Printer as well.. But failed...

Also I downloaded the latest firware and driver from HP website...it din work.
