Drskjet 2630
Android 8.0 - 8.1 Oreo
I got a new Deskjet printer, to make sure it worked I set it up at my parents house using their WIFI. Everything connected fine and I was able to print wirelessly with my android phone.
Since taking the printer back to my own house I can not get it to connect. The HP Smart app can see the printer on the network and asks for the password, but always says my password is wrong when it's not. I have tried changing my wifi name and password and following the directions to put the printer into set up mode. Nothing is working. Any help would be much appreciated

@Graceyvee,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues connecting the printer to your wireless network.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you follow the below steps to restore the network defaults on the printer and then try connecting the printer to your network.

  • Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel together for three seconds.

If you continue to face the issue, I recommend you uninstall the HP smart app and reinstall it on the phone and test.
