Hello Guys,
I need to disable SNMP on my Officejet Pro 6830. After updating Firware to PNP1CN1828AR and going to Network --. Advanced AND Network --> Ethernet --> Advanced there is no SNMP Config page.
I'm logging in as the Admin on EWS so it should be present. The reason I am looking to do this is that the SNMP settings have been flagged as a high risk on internal network vulnerability. My Office Jet Pro MFP 177FW also had this, but has an SNMP config page.
Is there a way to alter on the 6830, or perhaps by Secure Shell if not included in UI?
Thank You Very Much

Hi there,
Thanks for the reply. The Netowork config report is showing an SNMP section as " Enabled Read/Write " but there is no Config under
Network ---> Advanced Settings
Is there an alternative?
Thanks !

Hi Star_Fox,
Thanks for the reply. Is there a way to do this through a Command Line or SSH? Printing it's Config sheet out shows SNMP settings on the paper Report, so it must be configurable somehow?
Thanks !
