Hi @Spurway,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The E3 error code on your HP DeskJet 3758 typically indicates a paper jam or paper feed issue. Here's how to resolve it:
1. Check for Jammed Paper
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the input tray and output tray.
- Gently remove any jammed or stuck paper from the input area, cartridge access area, or rear access panel (if accessible).
2. Inspect the Paper Path
- Make sure there are no small bits of paper or debris inside.
- Use a flashlight to check deep inside the rollers.
3. Reload Paper Correctly
- Use clean, wrinkle-free paper.
- Fan the stack to prevent sticking.
- Load the paper properly into the input tray and adjust the paper width guides snugly against the paper.
4. Clean the Paper Feed Rollers
- Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water.
- Gently clean the rollers inside the input tray.
- Let them dry for at least 10 minutes before turning the printer back on.
5. Reset the Printer
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Try printing a test page.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
