I have an iMac and a MacBook that both experience the following message in the print queue:" Encryption Certificate Expired" when attempting print to the M252dw.
I updated the printer firmware and the printer driver on the iMac, same problem exists.
The Imac is running Ventura 13.7.1, the MacBook Monterey 12.7.3
Is this just a built in expiration mechanism or is there a fix for this?
Thanks for your help

This is what worked:
1. From the settings menu on the printer display panel select "Settings"
2. Select "Reports"
3.Select "Network Summary"
4. Enter the IP address of the printer (IPv4 address) into safari web address bar
5. Select the "Networking" Tab
6. Select "Certificates" under the "Security" heading
7. Click the "Configure" button under "Printer Certificate" (Not the CA Certificate)
8. Follow the prompts to create a new certificate that overwrites the existing certificate.

Type the IP address of the printer directly into the address bar of your browser and that will access the EWS of the printer. Do not try to search as it will not find it.

Either print the configuration page from the reports menu or touch the network icon in the upper right of the control panel. You can also download the user manual from support.hp.com that will provide details on navigating menus on your printer.

As per the video, you create a self-signed certificate, there is no external request required.

I am at a loss of what to do at this point
