Can you post a screenshot? To confirm, the Embedded Web Server has NOTHING to do with SMART other than Smart is a way to access the EWS. You will not find the settings you need in smart you need to be logged directly into the printer.

I had the exact same problem. On Mac, you'll see an icon for "Print Center" in the taskbar showing the failed print job. Open it up, right-click your printer and click "printer info". Click the button that says "Show Printer Web Page". I'm running chrome and had to accept a warning before it allowed me to see the printer web page because it's not https. Once you get to the printer web page, click the green "Networking" tab up top, and click "Certificates" on left-hand side. Under "Printer Certificate" click "configure", then click "Create a new self-signed certificate". Rest is self explanatory. Fixed this problem for me in a jiffy.

JRM124,
I am running Ventura, it only shows the print job queue for the printer in the task bar, the exact same thing as going to settings and opening the print queue from there.
There is no print center icon or any way to see what you are explaining.

This is what worked:
1. From the settings menu on the printer display panel select "Settings"
2. Select "Reports"
3.Select "Network Summary"
4. Enter the IP address of the printer (IPv4 address) into safari web address bar
5. Select the "Networking" Tab
6. Select "Certificates" under the "Security" heading
7. Click the "Configure" button under "Printer Certificate" (Not the CA Certificate)
8. Follow the prompts to create a new certificate that overwrites the existing certificate.
