Welcome to the HP Support Community.
To better assist you -
1) Are you able to print in color from any other devices? You have mentioned about a Mac and iPad. Are you experiencing this issue with both the devices?
2) Are you able to make a photocopy?
While you respond to that, Check ink levels - On the printer control panel, touch the Ink icon to display the current estimated ink levels.
Also, print a Print Quality Diagnostic report -
1) Load the printer with plain white paper.
2) On the printer control panel, swipe left on the display, and then touch Setup .
3) Touch Tools.
4) Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Quality Report.
Examine the report and if any of the color blocks show white lines, are faded, or are missing completely, try step# 10 to 13 from this document.

- Which device are you trying to print from?
- Which version of the Operating system is installed?
- Which application are you trying to print from?
- Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
