Envy 5030 Inkjet

Hi, I have an issue with my Envy 5030 since two weeks ago: it's always printing blank, even though it created a sound of "proper" printing while doing so.

 

What I have done so far (with no success):

  • I have checked the ink levels, both black and colour, and found no issue (at least half of cartridge) is available. 
  • Checked that the black and color cartridge is HP 304 (I live in Germany).
  • Network connection is working fine - the printer can communicate with my laptop and received the order to print.
  • Software update on the printer is also the latest. 
  • Tried to install and re-install HP Smart as the printer app, as recommended here https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-5000-all-in-one-printer-series/14095644/mod...
  • Clicked "Clean Page Smears" in printer's "Tools", but it's still printing blank
  • Clicked "Print Quality Report", printing but still blank
  • Clicked "Clean Cartridges", it was cleaning something inside, tried printing the report but still blank. Went into 2nd level cleaning, still blank.

I look forward to your recommendation on this issue - I really need the printer for my work matters. The printer is barely 1 year old and I have never experienced such issue with my other HP printer.

I see that the printer prints blank pages and I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue. This could be an issue with the printer ink system or ink cartridges.

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document  Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

i have the same problem but my printer is an Envy 5020.  i have done pretty everything from reinstalling everything, drivers firmware, the lot. i have ink in the cartridges but nothing gets printed out. Could it be that i need to replace the cartridges?
