The title says it all really. I see it's not just me encountering this persistent 'offline' error.
It's not the WiFi connection. It's not my laptop. The only thing that's changed is the printer. I used to have an HP Photosmart which, despite its quirks, was pretty reliable for years.
Now I have a brand new Envy 6000 with fancy lights and a cute melody, but the darn thing just randomly decides to go offline, making a simple 2-minute print job into a half-hour or more 'let's unplug, then click unhelpful app buttons to guess what we can do to get the thing online again' game. Most infuriating.
I don't want the fancy lights and a cute melody. I'd rather have a reliable printer. Please fix whatever HP software issue that's causing all this irritation and time-wasting 😞

Welcome to the HP support community.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

Thanks. It seems to be behaving itself right now. It might have been something to do with waking up the app first (I never close it but it deactivates itself), I'm not sure. But If the printer starts being a pain again, I'll pop back.
