Ok, so i have had the printer for 4 hours... initial setup was ok, but half the Webservices did not work and nothing I did helped (resetting we services)

After a "restore factory default", E9 error is present, nothing I can do to get out of it.

Suggestion that "An E9 error occurs when a problem occurs during a printer firmware update." is simply not true.

Neither Windows nor Android app see the printer anymore.

Very disappointed as have been an HP customer for years and returning the item back first thing tomorrow.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

Thank you for the reply.

I no longer have the printer, returned to online retailer the next day.

Ironically, I still have issues with getting rid of the HP Instant Ink sub for this printer, which is apparently the only way to delete it from my printers, so I can add a new one when I replace it...

Online searches suggest I am not the only one with similar issues (with specific model)
