When I turn on my HP envy 7858, I received the blue screen error DD000CFC. I've tried unplugging and waiting 3 minutes to reboot, but error message comes up again right after hp loading screen.

Hi @Jnanasy,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The DD000CFC error you're encountering on your HP Envy 7858 printer indicates a system issue that's causing the printer to display a blue screen. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue.
Power Reset:
- Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord from the back.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.
- Ensure the printer is directly plugged into a wall outlet, not a power strip or surge protector.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Open the printer and check for any paper jams or foreign objects that might be obstructing the printer's operation. Remove any obstructions you find.
Update Firmware:
- If you can access the printer's settings, check for any firmware updates. Keeping the printer firmware up-to-date can resolve many issues.
Factory Reset:
- If the above steps do not work, you might consider performing a factory reset on the printer. This will reset all settings to their defaults, which may resolve underlying issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
