Thank you thank you thank you! Firmware link, download, instructions, and the upgrade worked and cleared the error. Saved me a chunk of change! Keeping my fingers crossed.

Same for me --- guidance and .prn file worked perfectly worked perfectly.  Many, many thanks for posting. 

 

Just would like to know why HP took so long to publish this info and why they couldn't have notified all users on the MFP 477 Customer Support Page to be alert for the 59.FO problem.
