So I looks the firmware did work, I no longer have the error code. But now I have a “Supply Memory Error” is this because I had it sitting there for almost a year? The ink was brand new a year ago or so. Just want to make sure before I buy a whole new set of ink.

Laserjets do not have ink which dries up when not used. They use laser toner which never dries out, an advantage for infrequent use. Try unplugging the printer, waiting about 30 seconds, then plug it in again. If that doesn't work, open the supply door, remove the toner cartridges and reinsert. You are using genuine HP toner, right? If not, that can cause an issue.

If you are having the 59.f0 error there is a special update for the DC controller. The link is posted numerous times in this thread. If you cannot find it, start a new thread and I will post the Dropbox link again.

Hello Repairatrooper
You are a "God Send". Thank you very much for your DCC Firmware upgrade file and instructions for the HP M452dw. The file and instructions (Method 1) worked flawlessly. You saved me the cost of a new printer. Thank you. Stoic_Stephen
