I've tried a number of posted approaches to resetting this device, which I installed today. Other than printing the alignment page, it hasn't made it through one print job, then it gave me this blue screen message, with the printer's lights flashing like on a web site from the 1990s.

I've used Canon printers exclusively for over 25 years. This is the *first* HP I've bought, and I already regret it.

I called support and they are sending a replacement. Did you ever get the blue screen to go away?

I've been a computer user and developer since the mid-'70s, but didn't have time to waste on this, so I returned the HP and bought a Canon.

What phone number did you use for support?  I cannot find one to save my life.

HP’s website  provided that number on their website once I provided my serial number and product info. I agree with you - it was not easily available!
