I wanted to print a page from my cellphone to my printer like I already did 100 times but now it gives me the error message, and I can not continue. When I power him off, I can continue but when I want to print this page or any other one the same error occures. Can't find the meaning of this error.

Hi @ViVi06,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code 0xB86FE646 is not a common or widely documented error, but it typically indicates an issue with your printer's connectivity or settings. Here’s a structured approach to troubleshooting and resolving the issue:

1. Restart Your Printer and Devices:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Restart Your Cellphone:

  • Restart your cellphone to refresh its connections and settings.

Restart Your Router:

  • Sometimes, connectivity issues can be related to your network. Restart your router to refresh network settings.

2. Check Printer Connectivity:

Wi-Fi or Network Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your cellphone. Check the printer’s network settings and make sure it is connected.

Reconnect Printer:

  • Reconnect the printer to your network if necessary. You might need to go through the setup process again to ensure the printer is properly connected.

3. Update Printer Firmware and Software:

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Visit the printer HP website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. Follow the instructions to update the firmware if needed.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure that the printer drivers are up to date. Go to the HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your printer model.

4. Check for Print Queue Issues:

Clear Print Queue:

  • On your computer or mobile device, clear any pending print jobs from the print queue. Sometimes, stuck jobs can cause errors.

Reset Printer Settings:

  • If the issue persists, try resetting the printer settings to default. Refer to your printer’s manual or the HP website for instructions on how to perform a reset.

5. Try Alternative Printing Methods:

Print from a Different Device:

  • Attempt to print from another device, such as a computer or another cellphone, to determine if the issue is specific to your cellphone or affects all devices.

Use a Different Printing App:

  • Try using a different printing app or method to see if the issue is related to the app you’re currently using

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
