Error Code EBSOOP0013 pops up as I’m trying to set up my HP Laset Jet M209dwe. What do I do to get past it to finish set up?

The error code EBSOOP0013 indicates an error during the setup process of your HP LaserJet M209dwe printer. To help you resolve this issue, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

 

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your WiFi network.
  • Check that the network is stable and the internet connection is active.

Reinstall the HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall the HP Smart app from your mobile device or desktop.
  • Restart your device.
  • Download and reinstall the HP Smart app from 123.hp.com.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the app.

Update HP Smart App:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed.
  • Check for updates in the app store and apply any updates if available.
