That error code UA_400_EB000U0410 usually pops up during setup when the printer struggles to connect to your HP account or Wi-Fi network.
Let’s walk through a few steps to get your OfficeJet 8010 series printer back on track:
1. Check Your Wi-Fi Connection
- Make sure your printer and setup device (PC or phone) are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Avoid VPNs or proxy servers — they can block registration.
2. Restart Your Network
- Power cycle your router: unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
- Restart your printer after the router is back online.
3. Update the HP Smart App
- Go to 123.hp.com and download the latest version of the HP Smart app.
- An outdated app can cause setup hiccups like this.
4. Retry Setup
- Open the HP Smart app and try adding the printer again.
- If the error persists, exit setup, restart the printer, and reopen the app to retry.
5. Remove and Re-add the Printer
- In the HP Smart app, remove the printer from your account.
- Then re-add it and follow the setup prompts carefully.

If the printer was set up earlier with a different account. Log in to that account and continue setup.
