Hello HP, it's bad enough that I have to register in here to get a solution to what appears to be a fundamental problem - instead HP post it publicly as a support document ...
That I don't get any response after days to be able to help my customer is really bad. Should I now open another extra thread with the same question that tens of others have already asked here?
cheers

There is evidently no solution to this issue, as HP choose not to respond in any way at all. They obviously haven't got a clue how to fix it. Taking the power cord out is not a solution, it is a temporary fix, and the problems recurs so regularly that it is now a serious problem. Sometimes my printer behaves for two or even three days together, but for the last week it has been throwing up this problem every five minutes, and I spend more time waiting for the thing to reboot itself than I do in actual printing. It's a pity, because when it works it's a good printer - or was until the warranty ran out. What a curious coincidence that is . . .
HP's behaviour over this, without any acknowledgement that there is a problem, let alone a solution or even an apology, is just plain disgusting. I am waiting for my current stock of ink to run out, and I shall then dump the printer in the bin and buy a new one from Epson - I've got their A3 printer already, and a small 'travelling' printer, and they are both excellent.
I shall never ever buy anything from Hewlett Packard again.

This does not help and does not resolve the issue. I am having to do this before every print job. Can someone from HP please address this issue. It happened JUST after warranty expired on a very expensive printer.

You can’t get this fixed. HP has shown they don’t care. If you really want this fixed you need to buy a Brother or Epson printer - which is what I did.
I will say this “crash” only happens when my printer was on the network. It did not matter if it was WiFi or hardwired. All HP needs to do is look at their network code, but HP has ignored this issue.
